कृषिको एक परिचय
कृषिको की स्थापना का उद्देश्य:-
मानव सभ्यता की शुरुआत के समय से मनुष्य ने अपनी भूख मिटाने के लिए प्रयास आरम्भ किये. इन्ही प्रयासों से “कृषि” का आरम्भ हुआ. अर्थात कृषि ही विश्व का पहला व्यवसाय बना.
उस समय खेती सिर्फ आसपास उपलब्ध साधनो पर ही निर्भर थी. इसी को आजकल “जैविक -ऑर्गेनिक” के विशेषण दे दिए गए.
1950-60 के दशक में जब भारत में अन्न का गंभीर संकट था,हम विदेशी अन्न पर निर्भर थे,तब एक नई तकनीक विदेशों से आयात की गई. जिसे “आधुनिक-खेती” कहा गया और हम भारतियों ने इसे “हरित-क्रांति” नाम दे दिया.
यह तथाकथित हरित-क्रांति पूरी तरह रासायनिक उर्वरकों,कीटनाशकों आदि पर आधारित थी.
कोई शक नहीं कि इस नवीन तकनीक से पैदावार बढ़ी। इतनी बढ़ी कि देश के गोदाम अन्न से भर गए.अनाज खुले में सड़ने लगा,सरकारें इस अनाज को सँभालने तक में अक्षम साबित हुई. एक तरफ कभी हम आयातक थे,आज हम निर्यातक हैं.
हर चीज की अति होती है ,एक सीमा होती है. सीमा पर करने,अंधाधुंध रासायनिक उत्पादों का अत्यधिक उपयोग के दुष्परिणाम आने लगे . भूमि की उर्वरा शक्ति निरंतर क्षीण होती गई. भूमि में प्राकृतिक तौर पर मौजूद पोषक तत्व,जीवाणु,बैक्टीरिया,केंचुआ समाप्त होते गए. धीरे धीरे भूमि की उर्वरा शक्ति घटती गई,मूल पोषक तत्व,ऑर्गेनिक-कार्बन न्यूतम स्तर पर आ गई.
1990 से 2011 के भारत सरकार के ICAR के आंकड़े बताते हैं कि पोषक तत्वों का अनुपात 14.7 % से गिरकर 8.5 % पर आ गया. दूसरी तरफ यह घाटे का सौदा साबित हुआ.उदाहरण के लिए जितने पोषक तत्व खर्च करके हमने 1990 के आसपास पैदावार ली थी इसके
मुकाबले 2011 आते आते पोषक तत्वों की खपत और पैदावार का अनुपात गिरता गया. अर्थात लागत के मुकाबले पैदावार से मुनाफा कम होने लगा.
कारण,क्योंकि हमने अधिक उत्पादन के फेर में अपने पास उपलब्ध प्राकृतिक संसाधनों,उपायों को बिलकुल भुला दिया.
भूमि रासायनिक उत्पादों की आदि हो चुकी है. अगर किसान को कहा जाये की वह इनको छोड़ दे तो उसके पास इन उत्पादों,उर्वरकों का स्थान लेने के लिए प्राकृतिक खाद,कृषि में वांछित पोषक तत्वों का विकल्प सीमित मात्रा में ही उपलब्ध है. किसान के पास अब इतने पशु भी नहीं रहे की उनके गोबर से फसलों की जरूरत पूरी करने लायक देशी खाद आदि बना सके. देश में सीमान्त किसानों की संख्या ज्यादा है,एक दो हेक्टेयर के किसानों की संख्या अधिक है. बड़े किसान जाकर शहर में बस गए है.छोटे किसान किराये पर लेकर खेती करते हैं.मान लीजिये एक किसान ने पांच एकड़ जमीन किराये पर ली तो उसका खर्च हरियाणा,पंजाब में दो लाख ,ऊपर से पूंजी जो कर्ज लेकर लगाई उसका ब्याज,छह महीने तक फसल बोने से काटने तक का खर्च।साथ ही उसका परिवार भी इसी के सहारे है.अगर उसे सीमित मात्रा में उपलब्ध कुदरती उत्पादों के साथ ऑर्गेनिक फार्मिंग करने को कहा जाये तो उसके लिए घाटे का सौदा साबित होगा.
वर्तमान फसलों को NPK सहित 16 पोषक तत्वों की जरूरत है,एक सामान्य किसान कुदरती रूप में कैसे पूर्ति करे,यह विकट प्रश्न है.
रासायनिक उर्वरकों,कीटनाशकों के अत्यधिक उपयोग के कारण जहां एक तरफ भूमि की उर्वरा शक्ति क्षीण हुई,वहीं भूमि की ऊपरी परत कठोर होती गई. भूमि ने पानी सोखना कम कर दिया,वायु ,जल का आवागमन कम होने लगा,थोड़ी सी बारिश में ही भूमि में पानी खड़ा होने की समस्या पैदा हो गई. साथ ही फसलों की स्वाभाविक बढ़वार पर भी बुरा असर पड़ा,जड़ें सिकुड़ने से कई तरह की समस्यांए पैदा हुई.
पहले कभी हमारे खेतों में एकाध कीट,बीमारी होते थे आज उनकी संख्या सैंकड़ों में है. कीटनाशकों,फफूंदीनाशकों की अरबों की सालाना खपत होनी शुरू हो गई है.
इस हरित क्रांति नामक तकनीक के अति प्रयोग से कुदरती संतुलन डगमगा गया.भूमि व् भू-जल में नाइट्रेट,सल्फेट,आर्सेनिक,कीटनाशकों जैसे भारी,जहरीले तत्वों की मात्रा बढ़ती गई. कई तरह की जानलेवा,लाइलाज बीमारिया इंसानों में पनपने लगीं. आपको भी मालूम होगा कि भारत के एक राज्य पंजाब के शहर “भटिंडा” से एक ट्रेन राजस्थान के बीकानेर शहर तक चलती है जिसमे लगभग सभी कैंसर के रोगी ही सफर करते हैं,यह ट्रेन कैंसर ट्रेन के नाम से प्रसिद्ध हो गई है. यह मात्र एक उदाहरण है. पंजाब का यह क्षेत्र कभी अत्यधिक उपज की वजह से बेहद खुशहाल कहलाता था. पर आज स्थिति पूरी तरह बदल गई है. आज खासकर ग्रामीण तबका अपनी सेहत को बचाने, रोगों के इलाज पर अपनी कमाई का एक बहुत बड़ा हिस्सा खर्च कर रहा है. इससे वह तबका भी नहीं बच सका जिसका खेती से कोई सरोकार नहीं है. आप देख सकते हैं की 2000 के आसपास जहां एक डाक्टर की छोटी सी क्लिनिक हुआ करती थी वहां आज एक मल्टी-स्पेशिलिटी बहुमंजिला हस्पताल खड़ा हो गया.
यह उदाहरण है किसी आयातित तकनीक पर पूरी तरह निर्भर हो जाने का,अपने ज्ञान,संसाधनों,तकनीक की उपेक्षा करने का.
अब आधुनिक कृषि के पक्षधरों ने भी घुटने तक दिए हैं. कुदरती तौर तरीकों का रुझान बढ़ा है. ऑर्गेनिक फार्मिंग का चलन बढ़ा है. पर इसकी आड़ में भी कई मुनाफाखोर कूद पड़े हैं.कई तरह के निरर्थक उत्पादों की ऑर्गेनिक के नाम पर बाढ़ सी आ गई है.
मगर किसान “ईश्वर सिंह कुंडू” ने किसानों के बीच बरसों अध्ध्य्यन किया. समस्यांए जानने के प्रयास किये. तो पाया की अगर हम एक झटके से किसान को ऑर्गेनिक फार्मिंग की तरफ ले जाने के प्रयास करेंगे तो न किसान इसके लिए सहमत होगा, यह व्यवहारिक भी नहीं होगा होगा. विस्तृत परिदृश्य में देखें तो एक झटके में ऑर्गेनिक फार्मिंग अपनाना देश के लिए भी हानिकारक है. निरंतर बढ़ती जा रही जनसंख्या का पेट भी भरना है,साथ ही खेती को निर्यात्तोन्मिखि भी बनाना है ताकि किसान की आमदनी बढ़े. देश की अर्थव्यवस्था को भी सहारा मिले.
रिसर्च आधारित संस्थान के संस्थापक किसान ईश्वर सिंह कुंडू ने कई सालों तक अध्ययन किया और किसानों के साथ मिलकर एक ऐसी तकनीक विकसित की जिससे पैदावार भी कम ना हो भूमि की उर्वरा शक्ति में उत्तरोत्तर वृद्धि होती रहे. जहरीले कीटनाशकों पर निर्भरता कम होती जाये,साथ ही उर्वरकों की खपत धीरे धीरे कम की जाये,किसान खुद प्रेरित होगा और सुरक्षित खेती की तरफ स्वयं बढ़ता जायेगा. अपने आसपास उपलब्ध संसाधन,गोबर,फसलों के अवशेष ,हरी खाद आदि उपाय खुद अपनाना शुरू करेगा तभी हम देश को ऑर्गेनिक फार्मिंग की तरफ ले जा सकते हैं.

Purpose of establishment :-
Since the beginning of human civilization, man started efforts to satisfy his hunger. “Agriculture” started from these efforts. That is, agriculture became the world’s first business.
At that time agriculture was dependent only on the resources available around. This has been given the adjectives of “Jaivik-organic” nowadays.
In the 1950-60s, when there was a serious food crisis in India, we were dependent on foreign food, then a new technology was imported from abroad. Which was called “Modern-Farming” and we Indians gave it the name “Green Revolution“.
This so-called Green Revolution was completely based on chemical fertilizers, pesticides etc.
There is no doubt that this new technology increased the yield. It increased so much that the warehouses of the country were filled with food. The grains started rotting in the open, the governments proved to be incapable of even handling this grain. On one hand we were importers, today we are exporters.
Everything has its limits, there is a limit. Excessive use of chemical products indiscriminately started to have side effects. The fertility of the land was continuously deteriorating. The nutrients, bacteria, earthworms naturally present in the land were exhausted. Gradually the fertility of the land decreased, the basic nutrient, organic-carbon came to the minimum level.
The Indian government’s ICAR figures from 1990 to 2011 show that the nutrient ratio fell from 14.7% to 8.5%. On the other hand, it proved to be a loss-making deal. For example, the ratio of nutrient consumption and yield fell by 2011, compared to the amount of nutrients we had produced around 1990. That is, the profit from production started decreasing in comparison to the cost.
The reason, because we have completely forgotten the natural resources, measures available with us in the pursuit of producing more.
The land has become accustomed to chemical products. If the farmer is asked to leave them, then to replace these products, fertilizers, natural manure, the desired nutrients in agriculture are available in limited quantity. The farmer no longer had enough animals to make manure etc. from their dung to meet the needs of the crops.
The number of marginal farmers is more in the country, the number of farmers of one or two hectares is more. Big farmers have gone and settled in the city. Small farmers do farming on rent. Suppose a farmer has taken five acres of land on rent, then his expenditure is two lakhs in Haryana, Punjab, the interest of the loan taken from the capital above, The expenses from sowing the crop for six month to harvesting. Also his family is on this support. If he is asked to do organic farming with limited amount of available natural products, then it will prove to be a loss-making deal for him.
Present crops need about 16 nutrients including NPK, how a normal farmer can fulfill it naturally, this is a formidable question.
Due to excessive use of chemical fertilizers, insecticides, where on one hand the fertility of the land was reduced, the top layer of the land became hard. The land has reduced the water absorption, the movement of air and water started decreasing, the problem of stagnation of water in the land arose in the slightest rain. At the same time, the natural growth of crops was also affected, due to shrinking of the roots, many problems arose.
Earlier, there were only a few pests and diseases in our fields, today their number is in hundreds. Billions of pesticides, fungicides have been consumed annually.
The natural balance was shaken due to the overuse of this technology called Green Revolution. The amount of heavy, toxic elements like nitrate, sulfate, arsenic, insecticides increased in the land and ground water. Many types of deadly, incurable diseases started flourishing in humans.
You will also know that a train runs from the city “Bhatinda” of Punjab, a state of India, to Bikaner city of Rajasthan, in which almost all cancer patients travel, this train has become famous by the name of cancer train. This is just one example. This region of Punjab was once called very happy because of its high yield. But today the situation has completely changed. Today, especially the rural section is spending a huge part of their earnings on saving their health, treatment of diseases. This did not save even that section which has nothing to do with agriculture. You can see that around 2000’s, where there used to be a small clinic of a doctor, today a multi-specialty multi-storey hospital has come up.
This is an example of becoming completely dependent on an imported technology, neglecting your knowledge, resources, technology.
Now the advocates of modern agriculture have also given their knees. The trend of natural methods has increased. The trend of organic farming has increased. But many profiteers have jumped under the guise of this. Many types of useless products have been flooded in the name of organic.
But the most awarded farmer “Ishwar Singh Kundu” studied among the farmers for years. Tried to know the problems. So found that if we try to take the farmer towards organic farming with one stroke, then neither the farmer will agree to it, it will not be practical either. If we look at the broader scenario, adopting organic farming in one stroke is also harmful for the country. The stomach of the ever-increasing population has to be filled, as well as agriculture has to be made export-oriented so that the income of the farmer increases. The country’s economy should also get support.
Ishwar Singh Kundu, studied for many years and developed such a technique with the farmers so that the fertility of the land would increase progressively without reducing the yield. The dependence on toxic pesticides should be reduced, as well as the consumption of fertilizers should be reduced gradually, the farmer himself will be motivated and himself will move towards safe farming. The resources available around us, animal/cow dung, crop residues, green manure etc. will start adopting measures itself, only then we can take the country towards organic farming.
Keeping this whole scenario in mind, have invented many products which are completely based on the principles of Ayurveda. To maintain the fertility of the land, to improve the soil, to start the biological process again in the soil, to protect the crops from mildew, root diseases, and pests etc. Efforts were made to reduce the consumption of chemical fertilizers. How to get more yield from less fertilizers, such dangerous pesticides which farmers have been putting in the land for years, their consumption should be reduced to zero, so that life can be possible again in the land. In this way we shall able to bring down the dependence on the pesticides used in the soil to zero.
